scite 4 autohotkey allows to test and to create scripts

the .zip download (32bit) allows to test the script functions mentioned in the popup via [F5] or a ► click
The "shortCUTr.de Test" folder includes a 64bit AutoHotkey.exe, the +cv-mfg+.ahk script file, a permanent.ahk  script  and  a scite folderIf you extract the content to e.g. a portable drive.
→ modify the path in the H shortcut or  → click the scite.exe in the scite folder and DnD the .ahk into the editor . You can load too the script file via the url  ¹CTRL+O ²http://1mm.de/+cv-mfg+.ahk ³[open]
NOTE: your pc will save the script file in the %tmp% folder = usefull and less known  windows function

The 3 multiclipboards
save: ALT + F1 F2 F3  ⁴ Ctrl+S
paste: CTRL+V  ALT + 1 2 3   
4 values: Ctrl+V after Ctrl+S is important

To shorten URLs without highlighting and deleting the address end
¹ set the cursor before or after a slash ² [rCTRL]

FINGERtechnique if  only one dir up  ¹highlight the end ² KeySstroke on Backspace─ENTER
on the most keyboards: rotate the fingetip a little from Backspace to Enter whilst pushing down the 2 keys   -_- easier the script line, it's only one, simple action 

Permanent activation →2 "highlight and hit F6" files on the Desktop
load the permanent.ahk script via Ctrl + O or the folder symbol
the file will explain what will happen and includes further instructions e.g. exit + del
