via the TRIAL vmware thinapp you can create a portable dropbox on an external (flash) drive.
You should create the portable app on a clean windows installation with an attached external hard drive, detected as a local disk.
If you don't own such a drive:
•change the drive letter from a partition to the drive letter from your flash drive and change it back afterwards
